Why apron's you ask?

My inspiration for making aprons comes from the women of the 1940's and 1950's.  Women wore aprons at home for all activities and events.  There would be cleaning aprons, baking aprons, party aprons and holiday aprons.  They were made from all sorts of materials such as calico cottons for everyday aprons to chiffon for fancy aprons.  Vintage aprons have become quite popular and can be found for sale on Ebay.  Aprons are back in fashion again.  The half apron is also making a comeback.  The full skirted, flirty and feminie style is more appealing than the bibbed straight styles often sold in stores.

I hope that when you wear my aprons you feel special no matter what you are cooking.  Invite your friends over and make something wonderful and complicated together or create a new tradition with family members.  Bake something, saute something, butter a roll, serve up cocktails; whatever you do, do it in style, do it in Elizabeth's Aprons!
